I have Windows 7 x64 platform. When I start Lingoes (ver 2.9.2), always says "Request translation services failed." I tried on other platforms (XP, Windows 7 x32, Windows 8.1 x32) and everywhere the same situation happens. Why?

I have downloaded the latest version of the software (2.8.0) from the official website and everything is working just fine. When installing, make sure to launch the software as Administrator. This will greatly increase functionality of the software if it requires special access to install it.

This question has already been tackled here. I can confirm the software is working properly. I installed it on Windows 7 x64 as well without problems. Follow the indications on the previous answer and evertyhing should be fine.
Lingoes is compatible only with Windows operating systems, but you can try to install it on your Mac computer using CrossOver. CrossOver allows you to run Windows applications on a Mac without requiring a Windows license. Also, you can use Boot Camp, which lets you install Windows on a separate partition of your hard drive.
